Exotherm bestechen durch dynamische, abwechslungsreiche Songs und wandlungsfähigen Gesang, der von melancholischen Passagen bis hin zu aggressiven Shouts alles abdeckt.
Traditioneller Heavy, Power und Thrash Metal trifft auf Einflüsse aus diversen anderen Metal Sparten und auch moderne Elemente, ohne jedoch gleich NU zu sein. Gerade dieser Facettenreichtum der eingängigen Songs ist es, der ein breites Publikum anspricht.
Das Besondere ist sicher die Stimmung, die bei Exotherm-Konzerten aufkommt. Sänger Georg ist ein echter Frontmann, der das Publikum stark mit einbezieht, und Gitarrist Alex sorgt mit seinen Screams für zusätzliche Härte.
Auf der Bühne passiert wirklich etwas und wenn es in der Halle plötzlich sehr heiß wird, weiß man, dass Exotherm im Publikum Energie freisetzen und ihrem Namen alle Ehre machen…
Exotherm wurde 1998 von Alexander Braikrats (g, v), Christian Pirch (g), Nikolas Müller (b) und Pascal Azzolin (dr) in Wipperfürth (40km östlich von Köln) gegründet. Georg Laudenberg (v) kam 1999 dazu und bereichert seitdem die Band mit seiner eindrucksvollen Stimme und Bühnenpräsenz.
2007 verließ Pascal Azzolin aus zeitlichen Gründen die Band und Roland Gies übernahm seinen Platz am Schlagzeug.
Exotherm machen Musik, um das Publikum begeistern zu können, was sie bei vielen Clubgigs und Festivals auch verwirklicht haben.
Für die Zukunft haben sie sich vorgenommen, europaweit noch mehr live zu spielen, um die Zuschauer von sich zu überzeugen, und weiterhin gute Songs zu schreiben. Dabei werden sie sich nicht an Trends orientieren, sondern ihre Vorstellungen von guter Musik realisieren.
Durch den Plattenvertrag mit "Limited Access Records" ist bereits das Album "project 47" erschienen und bald steht das zweite Album an. Man darf also gespannt sein, was noch kommt...

Exotherm convince with dynamic and varying Songs and vocals full of mutability that cover everything from melancholic passages to aggressive shouts.
Traditional Heavy to Power Metal meets influences from several Metal genres and sometimes modern elements, but alway without being NU.
So the multifarious songs and the cathy tunes appeal to a big audience.
Characteristic for Exotherm is the mood on our concerts.
Singer Georg is a real frontman, who includes the audience in the program while around at the stage there is really someting going on.
Guitar player Alex with his scream cares for additional hardness and when we send up the temperatur in the club by several degrees, everyone knows that Exotherm even set free the energy of the audience.
And that is where the band's name comes from…
Exotherm was born in 1998 by Alexander Braikrats (g, v), Christian Pirch (g), Nikolas Müller (b) and Pascal Azzolin (dr) in Wipperfürth (40km east of Köln / Cologne, Germany).
Georg Laudenberg (v) joined 1999 with his amazing voice and his gift to entertain any audience.
Pascal Azzolin left Exotherm in 2007 and now Roland Gies is responsible for the drums.
We run the band to move the audience and have fun, what we proofed on many small and several bigger gigs and festivals.
Our plans for the future are: playing even more gigs to set the audience on fire and writing even more good songs, which are not following any trends, but fulfil our idea of good music.
Our album "project 47" was released on Oktober 4th by Limited Access Records and distributed internationally.
